The farms of Flinders Island in Bass Strait, Tasmania have developed an enviable reputation for producing some of the best prime beef, lamband wallaby in the world. The salt-laden pastures give the meat a unique flavour and it can be seen on the menu of most of the top restaurants around the country.

Wickham Farm is unique on Flinders Island as it is one of the few properties where these pastures gently roll down to literally meet the sea. With nearly 1.5km of beach frontage, the 225 acres of pasture picks up the first of the clean air and salt as it blows in across Bass Strait on the prevailing westerly wind.
